We can learn a thing or two from the Shunamite woman. She recognized that Elisha carried the presence of God and she made room for him and for God. And for that she received multiple blessings- beyond her expectations.

Sometimes you just need to get away to "Be still and know that He is God" My quiet time in my quiet place and Psalm 23 help to quieten my soul and can quieten yours, too.

Amazing how two people can experience the same situation and come out with different perceptions of it. The leaders of Israel saw themselves as grasshoppers before the giants in the land. Caleb saw giants too, but he said they could do it- they could go in and take possession of the land God promised them. When you are faced with difficult situations, do you see yourself as a mere grasshopper or do you trust the One who has promised to be with you always?

Pruning is usually accompanied by pain. Whether you are pruning a plant or you are being pruned yourself, the process can be uncomfortable. Sometimes God begins to remove the lifeless things in our lives or prune even the good things so we can be healthier mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Today, pray and ask Holy Spirit to show you what you need to let go and be ready to obey when he speaks.

Just one random, negative thought can turn a good day bad very quickly if you don't learn to capture it, reject it and replace it with the truth of God's Word.

Running a race is like life: you find your lane and stay in it. It is not wise to look back and you should stay in the race and finish it. Keep your eyes on the prize so you can finish your race.

In a world that is filled with bad news, the Good News of the Gospel brings light into darkness. Listen and be blessed!

Just as the rain and snow come down and fulfil their God-ordained purpose to water the soil and cause the seed to grow, so is the Word of God which comes from the Father. It will come to pass. It will accomplish the purpose for which He sent it. Though it tarries, wait for it!
